responsibilities:
- Lead Systems and V&V Engineering efforts for legacy products and new product development.
- Develop system requirements and architecture to meet customer needs, ensuring product safety and security.
- Generate and evaluate alternatives and trade-offs for technical problems and solutions.
- Create detailed technical documentation, including designs, verification, validation plans, protocols, and reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure product success.
- Contribute to risk management activities, including DFMEAs and technical risk mitigations.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in systems engineering or V&V in a medical device or related field.
- solid interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Ability to generate alternative solutions and make trade-off decisions for technical challenges.
- Proficiency in systems engineering tools such as DOORS, Polarion, and Minitab.
- Knowledge of Medical Device Regulations (design control, risk management) is preferred.
- Technical writing and communication skills to produce high-quality documentation and reports.
- Adaptability and the ability to manage change in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Knowledge of various system components including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, software, materials, and wireless connectivity.
