A Senior Sensory Technician is needed for the world's largest food and beverage company in the Bridgewater, NJ area. The Senior Sensory Technician manages the day-to-day operations of the sensory kitchen, supports sensory scientists in executing internal and external testing, and oversees product evaluations and data analysis to ensure high-quality sensory research for innovation and renovation projects.

responsibilities:
- Ensure sensory studies are executed on time and with high quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and adhere to safety standards in the lab.
- Provide direction to the ISI Sensory Technician and sensory panelists.
- Plan and procure products and supplies for tastings and product evaluations.
- Plan and execute informal lab tastings, including product prep and reporting.
- Lead testing execution and analysis for the discrimination panel.
- Procure, code, and ship products for external consumer testing with proper documentation.
- strong written and oral communication skills.
- Effective organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SAP.
- Familiarity with sensory testing software, ideally EyeQuestion.
- Moderate statistical skills and comfort with data acquisition and analysis software.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in a sensory department within the consumer goods industry.
- Knowledge of sensory research methods and scientific laboratory practices.
