Leading Engineering firm seeks a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to lead and grow their Geotechnical Division in Georgia and South Carolina offices. responsibilities:
- Manage the growth of the Geotechnical Division in the GA and SC offices and work closely with the other disciplines
- Manage the practice to achieve maximum profitability and growth
- Direct complex subsurface exploration and testing programs
- Ensure high quality deliverables in a timely and efficient manner
- Effectively manage client base and client satisfaction
- Prepare proposals and technical reports
- Serve as a technical leader, providing expert technical advice as necessary
- Senior review/authorship of geotechnical engineering reports and proposals
- Train and mentor Staff Engineers and provide guidance to field personnel
- Client and project management of geotechnical engineering projects
- Oversee materials (soils and concrete) laboratory and certification program
- Participate in the training and mentoring of technical and operational staff
- Assist the Regional Vice President, Office Leaders, architects, and engineers in planning, staffing, management, and business development

- Experience level: Manager
- Minimum 15 years of experience
- Education: Bachelors (required)
