A Project Engineer is needed for a Swiss multinational manufacturing company for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and nutrition sectors, in the Portsmouth, NH area. The Project Engineer is responsible for supporting the implementation, testing, and maintenance of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) by managing equipment issues, conducting technical analyses, handling change requests, and collaborating with various teams to improve manufacturing processes.

responsibilities:
- Responsible for requirements gathering, testing, implementation, and support of MES with some supervision and autonomy.
- Perform all tasks safely and comply with requisite training requirements.
- Develop technical knowledge of manufacturing equipment and process automation systems.
- Manage and resolve equipment breakdowns and quality issues in production suites.
- Provide SME support for the design and operation of process equipment.
- Conduct troubleshooting and technical analysis on manufacturing equipment and process control systems, including PI data analysis, CIP/SIP circuit review, flow path analysis, and code review.
- Assist with tech transfer of new processes into the facility.
- Complete change request lot assessments to support lot release.
- Represent MES in IPT/JPT meetings.
- Plan and execute plant projects involving automation changes and process improvements, including capital projects.
Education: College degree required.
