A leader in wastewater utilities is seeking a Civil Engineer to join its team in Smyrna, TN.
As Civil Engineer, you will help manage key utility projects in water and wastewater. You will serve as the primary liasion between the firm, developers, and the construction team. The Civil Engineer will have a hand in design through construction and implementation including overseeing the construction process, conducting field inspections, and ensure safety standards are met. You will conduct hydraulic modeling as well as system capacity evaluations. Projects may include multiple facilities in and out of state and responsibilities will lend themselves to some project management duties like developing timelines and project progress tracking. The Civil Engineer will aide in job costing and contractor selection as well as the technical support of troubleshooting systems.
Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering along with at least 5 years of water/wastewater experience in utilities. EITs and PEs are highly preferred and familiarity with GIS and Autocad is a must. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.
