Our client near Tampa, FL is looking to add a Mechanical Engineer for a contract opportunity with a length of around 6 months. You will be involved with cross functional teams to develop and implement solutions, particularly in the fields of mechanical engineering, automation, and material handling. We are looking for individuals who have a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 2 years of prior experience. Candidates should also have experience with Solidworks or AutoCAD. responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to turn solutions from concept to execution.
- Utilize SolidWorks to create 3D models for various components and assemblies.
- Produce detailed component drawings following GD&T standards for precise manufacturing.
- Provide technical expertise in mechanical engineering and supply chain operations.
- Partner with teams to integrate conveyor control systems, automated material handling, and autonomous vehicles.
- Develop and maintain mechanical layouts and system designs.
- Offer on-site commissioning support and conduct design reviews as needed.
- Assist with mechanical installations as required.
