One year ++ contract & work from home. Join an innovative engineering team as a Senior Mechanical Engineer supporting a large industrial facility project near Hopkinsville, KY. You'll help lead complex mechanical design projects, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working from home with travel to the site two times per month. Candidates must hold a PE license in Kentucky and have at least 10 years of experience.

responsibilities:
- Serve as Engineer of Record and mechanical lead for key projects.
- Lead project execution, managing spend, deliverable quality, and change control.
- Provide oversight on industrial facility design, operations, and commissioning.
- Ensure all deliverables meet industry and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of mechanical engineering experience, including complex project management.
- PE license in the state of Kentucky (required).
- Experience in industrial facility design and operations, with some HVAC familiarity.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel as required to job sites.
