A Packaging Engineer for a medical devices and equipment manufacturing company is needed in the Mahwah, NJ area. This role involves designing and developing packaging equipment and materials to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant transportation of goods while analyzing specifications, evaluating methods, and recommending innovative packaging solutions.

responsibilities:
- Develop and design packaging equipment and materials for safe, convenient, and attractive transport of goods.
- Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to determine appropriate packaging materials.
- Maximize convenience, utility, and function based on product characteristics, safety, and handling requirements.
- Evaluate packaging and transportation methods to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Recommend efficient packing procedures, material innovations, and sealing/fastening device utilization.
