Industry-leading manufacturer in a position of growth seeks an Electrical Project Engineer to lead CAPEX (capital projects) and smaller maintenance-types of projects. You should have experience from a heavy industrial or heavy manufacturing environment. You should have a strong team-player mindset, ability to lead, and great communication skills. responsibilities:
- Manage capital projects (CAPEX) as well as maintenance projects
- Conduct failure analysis and troubleshoot electrical problems
- Work with other engineers and technicians to improve the efficiency and reliability of electrical systems
- Program, modify, and troubleshoot industrial automation equipment (PLCs, robotics, etc) when needed
- Design automation systems as needed
- BS Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or BSEET preferred
- 3+ yrs related experience in a heavy industrial (metals, paper, chemical) preferred, heavy manufacturing (automotive, appliance, etc) to be considered
- 3+ years electrical project engineering / management experience
- Experience with industrial automation (PLCs), high voltage, power distribution, and other similar plant & maintenance types of electrical topics
