A Quality Engineer is needed for a company that produces electronics and HVAC equipment for buildings in the Wichita, KS area. The Quality Engineer ensures production quality by developing and maintaining standards, conducting inspections, applying statistical methodologies, and collaborating with teams to drive process improvements and regulatory compliance.

responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain production quality standards and documentation.
- Define quality requirements for new products and maintain relevant documentation.
- Monitor production quality performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Review and maintain quality files, procedures, and work instructions for compliance.
- Draft, edit, and update Quality System documents, including the Quality Manual.
- Ensure the implementation and maintenance of Quality System processes.
- Promote awareness of customer requirements across the organization.
- Administer the Corrective Action Request system and handle customer complaints.
- Plan, develop, and conduct experimental test programs.
- Analyze operational, test, and research data to assess product performance.
- Proficiency in Good Engineering Practices, Quality by Design, and Process Control Strategies.
- strong teamwork and leadership skills, with the ability to influence positive change.
- Ability to collaborate with and support Manufacturing Engineers.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of Quality Engineering experience.
