A Systems Integration Professional is needed for an engineering consulting company in the San Jose, CA area. This position is responsible for integrating and programming industrial automation systems, including PLCs, SCADA, and instrumentation, to support semiconductor, industrial, and commercial facility projects.

responsibilities:
- Configure and program facility management system PLCs and HMI/SCADA interfaces.
- Manage engineering and programming tasks while ensuring adherence to client scope, budget, and schedule.
- Provide on-site startup assistance and coordinate work with other engineers and teams.
- Design electrical circuits, control panels, and automation systems using CAD software.
- Develop process control, instrumentation, and automation solutions.
- Support after-hours on-call services as needed.
- Perform field visits at active construction sites, requiring physical activity such as climbing ladders and working in small spaces.
- Proficiency in PLCs and SCADA systems.
- Experience with Rockwell and GE/Emerson PLCs.
- Experience with Inductive Automation Ignition software.
- Ability to read and interpret Piping & Instrument Diagrams (P&ID) using ANSI/ISA S5.1 symbology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
- Associate of Applied Science Degree in Electronics or Instrumentation.
- 6+ years of Industrial System Integration experience.
