One year ++ contract & work from home. Join an innovative engineering team as a Senior Mechanical Piping Engineer supporting a large industrial facility project near Hopkinsville, KY. You'll help lead complex mechanical design projects, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working from home with travel to the site two times per month. Candidates must hold a PE license in Kentucky and have at least 10 years of experience.

responsibilities:
- Serve as Engineer of Record and lead mechanical engineering projects.
- Oversee piping engineering, including pipe stress analysis and piping isometric design.
- Design and specify pressure equipment such as tanks, pressure vessels, and heat exchangers.
- Lead industrial facility design, plant operations, and commissioning.
- Develop and implement Project Execution Plans and Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules.
- Ensure all deliverables meet industry codes, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
- Manage budgets, schedules, and project deliverables.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and communicate with clients and stakeholders.
- Prepare reports, documentation, and technical presentations.
- Education: Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience: 10+ years in mechanical engineering, with expertise in large-scale industrial projects.
- License: Professional Engineer (PE) in Kentucky.
- Technical Skills:
- Piping engineering (stress analysis, isometric design).
- Design and specification of pressure vessels, tanks, and heat exchangers.
- Industrial facility layout, plant operations, and commissioning.
- Project Execution Plans and CPM scheduling.
- Compliance with industry codes and regulations.
