An Inventory Analyst is needed for an American corporation that manufactures agricultural, construction, and forestry machinery, diesel engines, drivetrains (axles, transmissions, gearboxes) used in heavy equipment, and lawn care equipment in the Dubuque, IA area. This role involves overseeing inventory audits, managing cycle counts, resolving inventory issues, and using SAP for data entry, while leading and training personnel to ensure inventory accuracy and process improvement in a manufacturing environment.

responsibilities:
- Implements inventory audits and related transactions to measure accuracy.
- Compiles inventory audit requirements internally and with external companies.
- Prepares reports on inventory status.
- Supervises or directs salary and wage personnel (e.g., Cycle Counters, lower-level Inventory Analysts).
- Monitors and coordinates various manufacturing and materials processes to ensure they are functioning, such as the Return Goods Authorization (RGA) and cycle counting processes.
- Resolves inventory-related questions and issues, including participating in factory teams to improve inventory turns and accuracy.
- Coordinates and analyzes daily, monthly, and annual inventory audits (e.g., engine audits) to test financial accuracy.
- Prepares and reviews perpetual inventory reports.
- Provides work direction and coaching to less experienced personnel and ensures completion of administrative support for Human Resources processes.
- SAP is used 99% of the time, but must be proficient with Excel and PowerPoint
- Strongly prefer SAP experience, but it can be trained - if no experience, must have experience working in other systems.
- Experience in inventory (in a manufacturing setting) and root cause corrective action analysis are required.
- Degree would be preferred (no preference in field), but HS diploma/equivalent.
- With 1+ years of experience in inventory in a manufacturing setting.
