An Engineering Technician is needed for a leader in power and automation technologies in the Westerville, OH area. Seeking an experienced Electronic Technician to perform maintenance, calibration, and repair of electronic and electro-mechanical equipment, troubleshoot down to the component level, and support networking, software configuration, and system optimization in a Power and Automation Industry repair center.

responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and repair of electronic equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electronic boards to component level, including through-hole and surface mount soldering.
- Use troubleshooting tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
- Work within ISO-certified policies and procedures and document activities.
- Provide network support, computer repair, OS restoration, and software configuration.
- Utilize LabView programs (preferred but not required).
- Read and understand complex schematics and drawings.
- Electronics troubleshooting (power supplies, microprocessors, analog/digital I/O, networking).
- Electro-mechanical skills (pneumatics, stepper motors, actuators).
- Software proficiency (Windows 10, MS Word, MS Excel).
- Basic programming knowledge (LabView, C/C++, firmware understanding is a plus).
- strong problem-solving, analytical, and teamwork skills.
- Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent military/work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of related field service support experience.
