A Continuous Improvement Specialist for a medical devices and equipment manufacturing company is needed in the Arlington, TN area. A Continuous Improvement (CI) Specialist leads Lean Manufacturing initiatives to optimize processes, drive efficiency, and enhance operational performance in a manufacturing environment.

responsibilities:
- Facilitate Kaizen events with cross-functional teams.
- Apply Lean tools (7 Wastes, 5S, Standard Work, SMED, TPM, VSM) to improve processes.
- Track and analyze SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) metrics for improvement.
- Lead internal Lean audits on 5S, Standard Work, and TPM.
- Standardize processes through process mapping, work instructions, and SOPs.
- Conduct team meetings, communicate issues, and ensure follow-ups.
- Develop tracking tools and performance measures for CI initiatives.
- Benchmark industry best practices to identify improvement opportunities.
- Challenge the status quo to optimize manufacturing performance.
- Follow cGMP guidelines and department SOPs for compliance.

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Knowledge of Lean methodologies, waste reports, and process improvement techniques.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio).
