The primary responsibility of this role is to support the development and implementation of new model preparation within the Assembly department.
1 year Contract!
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Engineering, a technical degree, or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of experience in Assembly Engineering or Internal Logistics Engineering.
- proficiency in Autodesk applications.
- Ability to travel up to 20%
- Ability to work up to 30% overtime
- Training and experience in creating and interpreting equipment drawings from concepts to production.
- Vehicle model change experience (3+ years preferred).
- Experience in route planning and/or Material Information Flowchart Creation (MIFC).
- Experience in improving safety conditions in material handling areas.
- Experience managing projects through Operating Procedures (OP).

- Schedule, budget, and coordinate layout with PC Logistics and Assembly teams for upcoming model changes.
- Guide Equipment team members through the Model Change process for Assembly and Logistics, ensuring adherence to standard Equipment Operating Procedures
- Lead equipment projects from concept to launch for Assembly
- Develop vendor base and establish internal/external performance metrics for Production Engineering
- Work closely with internal and external groups
