Are you passionate about ensuring the quality and efficiency of medical device manufacturing processes? We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team, committed to delivering life-saving products. In this role, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production lines, validate processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
This Contract would be for a minimum of 1 year - up to 2 years.

responsibilities:
- Oversee up to 8 medical device assembly lines, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
- Execute process and equipment validation/verification strategies for new or modified manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with R&D teams to implement design for manufacturability and ease of assembly.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing process documentation, including specifications and standard operating procedures.
- Perform root-cause analysis for non-conforming materials and implement corrective actions.
- Utilize Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to identify and drive continuous improvement projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Materials, Biomedical, or related field).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in manufacturing engineering; experience in the medical device industry is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with equipment/process validations (IQ/OQ/PQ) and process improvements.
- Knowledge of Quality Systems of medical device development and manufacturing.
- Experience with CAD modeling, schematic drafting, and electrical design.
- Familiarity with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning systems.
- Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
