A Dist Dispatcher Associate is needed for a world class utility company in the Fort Wayne, IN area. This role is responsible for dispatching, monitoring, and coordinating the restoration of the company's distribution system while ensuring safety, compliance, and efficient outage management.

responsibilities:
- Promote and enforce company safety and health programs.
- Adhere to company and department policies and procedures.
- Maintain high ethical standards and follow the Corporate Compliance Policy.
- Operate company communication equipment effectively.
- Track crew locations and ongoing work on the distribution system.
- Dispatch service personnel for outages and emergency situations.
- Authorize energizing and restoration of distribution facilities.
- Maintain accurate outage records.
- Keep records of abnormal and defective equipment in distribution facilities.
- Associate degree in Electrical or Electronic Technology, or
- Bachelor of Science in any field, or
- Equivalent education and/or experience.
