A Growing Industrial Packaging Organization is seeking a Production Supervisor for their team in Warren County, TN. The ideal candidate will have prior management experience, analytic skills to resolve manufacturing issues, and an understanding of lean manufacturing concepts. responsibilities:
- Coordinate with scheduling, purchasing, engineering and program managers for production schedules, forecasts and material needs
- Implement and maintain 5S standards in the work area
- Train team on proper tool and equipment usage, while ensuring team is trained in quality standards
- Maintain overall department efficiency
- Reduce cycle and setup times for production machines
- Bachelors degree in engineering or similiar preferred
- Thermoforming and prior direct management experience
- Intermediate level in Microsoft office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Some machinery experience with manual mills & lathes and other hand tools
- Lean Manufacturing
