Great Client is seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to support the design and execution of medium to high complexity technology projects. This role involves managing global project teams, fostering customer relationships, and ensuring projects align with strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have experience in energy storage, power conversion, or data center infrastructure projects. Additionally, the candidate should have hands-on experience overseeing the design process through to manufacturing and working directly with clients.
Ideally seeking someone with 10+ years of experience in this field. Candidates who are bi-lingual in English and Mandarin are strongly preferred.

responsibilities:
- Solicit regular feedback from business units, peers, and team members to assess individual contributions.
- Coordinate small teams, maintaining focus even during crises.
- Facilitate weekly forums to exchange project ideas, status updates, and resolve any issues, changes, or problems.
- Maintain strong communication channels with customers, senior management, and project teams.
- Assist with business and contract negotiations.
- Ensure products and services are delivered on time and within budget, adhering to contractual requirements.
- Conduct formal design reviews with customers to ensure designs meet their requirements.
- Identify cost-reduction opportunities by streamlining processes, consolidating tasks, and eliminating inefficiencies.
- Use tools to monitor departmental costs and trends, continuously seeking improvements in value.
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering field.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience, including significant involvement in product design.
- Proven experience in project management for product design through to manufacturing, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk mitigation within a Quality Management System (QMS).
- Ability to provide strategic direction and deliverables for projects based on customer requirements, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
