Growing manufacturer south of Cape Girardeau is seeking a Controls and Automation engineer to add to its team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least 2 years of industry experience in manufacturing. Electrical controls and automation systems knowledge is required, as well as PLC programming and strong knowledge of electrical system design. Excellent benefits and relocation assistance!

responsibilities:
- Participate in projects supporting software, hardware, automation, and network upgrades
- Program PLCs, Servos, VFD and hardware.
- Work with the Engineering team to implement new digital tools using SQL, DFOS, BuildApp, Power Apps and Power BI
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering or similar
- At least 2 years of industry experience in manufacturing
- Knowledge of control and electrical system design and its application in automated industrial designs??
- Proficiency with electrical controls, PLC programming (Allen-Bradley) SQL database and networking
- Robotics software and programming knowledge preferred
- Ability to multitask and communicate effectively
