Privately held Houston civil engineering firm is seeking to add a Civil Engineer to the team. Civil Engineer will be responsible for providing engineering design and construction review for a variety of projects, including water, wastewater, detention, storm water, paving, and roadway projects. Needs a solid understanding of civil engineering principles, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work from start to finish.

responsibilities:
- Perform engineering design and calculations for civil engineering projects.
- Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, and reports.
- Conduct site visits and inspections.
- Must manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare various permit applications, including applications for new, renewal, minor amendment, and major amendment applications for TPDES permits.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
- Experience in water, wastewater, paving, drainage, and roadway design is required
