Privately held Civil Engineering firm in Houston is looking for an experienced Civil Designer to join its team. The Designer will be responsible for creating and modifying engineering drawings and models for a variety of civil engineering projects, including water, wastewater, detention, storm water, paving, and roadway design. The ideal candidate will need a solid understanding of drafting and design principles, proficiency in relevant software, and the ability to work collaboratively with engineers and project managers.

responsibilities:
- Develop and revise detailed engineering drawings using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
- Create 3D models of civil engineering designs.
- Prepare and review design layouts, plans, and specifications for wastewater, drainage and roadway projects.
- Needs extensive experience in water, wastewater, drainage, and roadways design REQUIRED
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure accuracy and feasibility of designs.
- Assist in the preparation of permit applications, surveys and other regulatory documents.
- Maintain accurate and organized project files and documentation.
