responsibilities:
- Develop and implement processes, SOPs, quality control, and safety protocols for efficient, compliant operations.
- Manage raw material supply, including cost requests and MOQs.
- Handle patent applications and publications.
- Ensure lab equipment calibration and functionality.
- Contribute to product development by creating, adjusting, and testing color formulas, including stability and safety testing, while guiding junior chemists.
- Create and review product procedures and specifications per industry and company standards.
- Standardize and document approved formulas with specifications, procedures, and test results.
- Source and develop new raw materials from vendors.
- Collaborate with the overseas R&D team and production for successful scale-ups and technology transfers.
- Research new technologies, practices, and trends.
- Work with cross-functional teams to build product dossiers and provide necessary documents.
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices in the lab.
- Participate in management meetings with product development, packaging, and overseas R&D teams.
- Assist in resolving technical issues through investigation and recommendations.
