A Survey Technician is needed for a utility holding company in the Minneapolis, MN area. This position will manage survey field activities, collect and analyze data, liaise between departments, and ensure accurate documentation and communication with stakeholders.

responsibilities:
- Respond to survey requests from various departments and gather accurate property data.
- Serve as the liaison between Engineering, Design, and Survey teams.
- Record survey data using electronic data collectors for office download and analysis.
- Research land records and resolve physical field issues promptly.
- Download and analyze survey points to verify feature codes and line strings.
- Assist office personnel in completing final documents and drawings.
- Communicate with private survey companies, engineering firms, government agencies, and the public.
- Maintain knowledge of survey procedures and stay updated on new technologies and instrumentation.
