A Supply Management Specialist is needed for an American corporation that manufactures agricultural, construction, and forestry machinery, diesel engines, drivetrains (axles, transmissions, gearboxes) used in heavy equipment, and lawn care equipment in the Dubuque, IA area. This role will manage the Order Fulfillment Process, source suppliers, resolve procurement issues, and improve supplier performance to support Aftermarket & Customer Support operations.

responsibilities:
- Conduct part sourcing activities, analyze quotations, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, lead time, and stability.
- Participate in resourcing activities and expedite parts/orders as needed from suppliers.
- Support the Engineering Change Management (ECM) process to implement design changes and product improvements.
- Resolve shipping, receiving, invoicing, and payment issues to ensure accurate and timely payments.
- Drive continuous improvement with suppliers using the Achieving Excellence process.
- Define, resolve, and provide solutions to supplier performance issues while managing day-to-day supplier relationships.

- Understanding of order fulfillment processes.
- Experience in negotiation and conflict resolution.
- Knowledge of supply management and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience in supply management areas such as supplier integration, strategic supply management, supplier development, and logistics.
- Familiarity with SAP, Business Objects, and Business Warehouse reporting systems.
- Buyer/purchasing experience with external suppliers.
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Supply Management, Logistics, Accounting, Finance, or Engineering.
- Equivalent experience in a related field considered.
