A EHS Analyst is needed for a technology company that designs and manufactures connectors and sensors for several industries, such as automotive, industrial equipment, data communication systems, and more, in the Fuquay-Varina, NC area. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, conducting training, managing audits, and fostering continuous improvement in a manufacturing facility.

responsibilities:
- Lead daily EHS operations and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, local, and company regulations.
- Develop and deliver EHS training programs on hazard recognition, accident prevention, and safety best practices.
- Lead or support investigations into accidents, injuries, and near-miss incidents.
- Perform root cause analyses and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely reporting to regulatory agencies.
- Collaborate with department heads to promote continuous improvement in safety and environmental compliance.
- Analyze trends in workplace incidents and environmental impacts to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct regular EHS audits and inspections to identify hazards and evaluate control measures.
- Coordinate external audits and implement corrective actions as required.
- strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and state regulations.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in EHS software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 3 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
