A Senior Quality Technician is needed for a multinational corporation that produces mirrors as well as a variety of construction, high-performance, and other materials in the Bristol, RI area. This Senior Quality Technician responsible for programming and automating CMM machines, conducting inspections, maintaining quality records, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

responsibilities:
- Program and set up CMM machines for accurate inspection.
- Develop and write software programs to automate CMM inspections.
- Test and debug CMM programs to ensure quality and productivity standards.
- Use contact and non-contact measuring tools, as well as visual inspection techniques.
- Complete and sign off on first and last article inspections.
- Maintain accurate records of programs, processes, and results.
- Generate process capability and SQC (Statistical Quality Control) reports using Minitab or similar software.
- Conduct safety observations and participate in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) activities.
- Handle raw materials, hazardous waste, and defective parts safely and responsibly.
- Proficiency in CMM programming and setup.
- Knowledge of GD&T, IATF 16949, and AS 9100 standards.
- Experience with PPAP, control plans, and PFMEA preferred.
- Basic computer and math skills.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience as a Quality Technician.
