Process Engineer based near Rutledge, GA for a leading manufacturer. This role is expected to improve process capabilities, eliminate defects, and reduce manufacturing costs.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (B.S in Engineering is preferred)
- Must have at least three (3) years of process improvement experience within a manufacturing environment
- Six Sigma, Lean, and other Operational Excellence tools

responsibilities:
- Design, integrate, or improve manufacturing systems or related processes to increase productivity and reduce cost.
- Developing and implementing process specs, procedures for operator, and establish best practice for control standards.
- Identify opportunities or implement changes to improve products or reduce costs using knowledge of fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment, assembly methods, quality control standards, or product design, materials and parts.
- Determine root causes of failures using statistical methods and recommend changes in designs, tolerances, or processing methods.
- Troubleshoot new or existing product problems involving designs, materials, or processes.
- Review product designs for manufacturability or completeness.
