A leader in offshore wind construction and innovation is seeking a Buyer to join its team in New London, CT for a long term contract project.
As Buyer, you will generate and process purchase orders, sourcing suppliers and negotiating pricing and terms. You will recieve and inspect incoming shipments and document discrepancies as well as manage inventory levels for coordinating with internal departments. You should be familiar with maintaining purchasing records and noting supplier performance.
Candidates should have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED (Associate's degrees preferred) and at least 1 year experience of purchasing and inventory management. Candidates should be fluent with data input and word processing software. You must be local to the New London area. This role may be extended as project needs dictate.
