A Senior Manufacturing Engineer is needed for a multinational corporation that is involved in the design, development, manufacturing, and worldwide marketing and sales of athletic apparel, equipment, accessories, and services in the Beaverton, OR area. A Senior Manufacturing Engineer responsible for assessing and improving processes in apparel and footwear to ensure product integrity, quality, and compliance, collaborating with cross-functional teams and driving innovation.

responsibilities:
- Analyze current capabilities in apparel and footwear, including materials, manufacturing, and quality control.
- Identify gaps and recommend strategies to optimize processes and tools.
- Implement process improvements to enhance color and material quality while reducing defects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure process alignment with business goals.
- Maintain supplier and factory relationships to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Analyze data and metrics to identify trends and optimization opportunities.
- Present reports and recommendations on product integrity to senior leadership.
- strong knowledge of textile manufacturing, dyeing, finishing, printing, testing, and industry trends.
- Intermediate technical knowledge of fibers, yarns, knits, wovens, and materials testing/inspection.
- strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience in Lean or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
- Experience with Smartsheet, Tableau, Miro, and Slack is a plus.
- strong project and time management skills, with the ability to deliver results on time.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in ambiguous environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Textile Science, Materials Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in product development, quality assurance, or related field in footwear or apparel.
