A leader in offshore wind is seeking a long term contract Substation Logistics Manager for its project in Kingstown, RI.
As Substation Logistics Manager, you will work onshore to plan and coordinate daily offshore logistics, ensuring timely transfer of materials and personnel. You will act as liason between the offshore operations, commissioning team and contractors. You should understand how to maage spare parts and inventory, material readiness and commissioning logitics which include low voltage and utility systems, high voltage equipment, SCADA and communication systems. You will also particiapte in meetings, support defect management processes and ensure equipment meets industry standards.
Candidates should have a background in electrical or marine engineering with knowledge of LV/HV systems, SCADA, safety systems and offshore logistics. You should have a bachelor's degree and excellent communication skills for this role. Local talent only at this time.
