A Quality Inspector in the Camarillo, CA area is needed for a multinational power management company. This role performs detailed inspections of mechanical, electrical, and environmental aspects of products using company or customer specifications, ensuring compliance with quality standards and maintaining accurate records.

responsibilities:
- Perform visual, dimensional, electrical, mechanical, environmental, and chemical inspections.
- Conduct inspections at various stages: source, first article, receiving, in-process, final, and testing.
- Review and approve inspection/test data.
- Read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and procedures.
- Interface with customer and government source inspection personnel.
- Maintain inspection records in accordance with company procedures.
- Assist in the corrective and preventive action process.
- Understand and support the Quality Management System.
- Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (reading and writing).
- Proficiency in using basic measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of mathematics and SPC (Statistical Process Control).
- Ability to differentiate colors and maintain correctable vision.
- Familiarity with AS9102 standards and creating AS9102 FAIRs (First Article Inspection Reports).
- High School graduate, or equivalent.
- American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Quality Inspector (CQI).
- Three - Five (3-5) years of manufacturing experience.
- Three - Five (3-5) years inspector experience.
