Project Coordinator needed in Chesapeake VA. The Project Coordinator facilitates engineering and construction projects by collaborating with the Project Manager and project team. Ideal candidates will be able to communicate with internal and external stakeholders while effectively managing project documentations and tasks. Ideal candidates will have at least 7 years of relevant experience.

responsibilities:
- Collaborates with the Project Manager and project team to facilitate engineering and construction projects.
- Provides and presents administrative project information.
- Coordinates internally and externally with clients and project management to provide solutions for project execution and program needs.
- Facilitates communication with vendors, suppliers, clients, and project teams as part of the overall communications and project management process.
- Resolves questions regarding the project by researching and providing appropriate answers.
- Prepares and presents meeting notes, presentations, and tables using Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and other programs.
- Manages project setup preparation and compiles documentation updates.
- Monitors project deadlines and benchmarks, supporting the presentation of monthly progress reports, including action items and updates.
- Plans, coordinates, and facilitates on-site and off-site meetings, including:
- Project orientation and training
- Stakeholder meetings
- Team meetings
- Periodic reviews
- Project orientation and training
- Coordinates required training programs and records for project personnel, ensuring compliance with corporate training department and project requirements.
- Obtains physical sign-off of project documents and maintains both electronic and paper files.
- Verifies accuracy and compliance with project requirements for bills/invoices, trip tickets, and expense reports, processing them in a timely manner.
- Manages IT resources for project offices and staff by coordinating with internal support departments.
- Provides follow-up reports on Accounts Receivables (ARs) and unbilled issues as assigned.
- Administers project closeout activities.
- Composes project cost forecast updates.
- Runs PPS reports.
- Establishes priorities and deadlines for project deliverables.
- Investigates project expenses not billed to the client and reports findings to the Project Manager.
