A Technical Facilities Lead Project Manager is needed for a multinational manufacturing company that produces and distributes trucks, buses and construction equipment, as well as marine and industrial drive systems in the Greensboro, NC area. This role will lead and manage complex EPC projects from concept to handover by applying project management principles, ensuring compliance with budget, scope, and quality while fostering internal and external relationships.

responsibilities:
- Balances big-picture goals with project details.
- Follows systematic, proven processes to organize work and prioritize resources.
- Sets achievable goals and manages individual and team tasks effectively.
- Implements industry best practices to improve safety, cost, schedule, and quality.
- Builds knowledge of company operations and objectives to anticipate and address internal needs.
- Translates business opportunities into actionable solutions.
- Manages day-to-day interactions to create trust and rapport.
- Applies systematic processes for budgeting and fund release per contract and project gates.
- Develops and maintains overall project schedules from design through handover.
- Monitors progress, analyzes schedule complexities, and provides input to mitigate problems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and project management software.
- Extensive experience managing EPC projects.
- Leadership experience in managing multidisciplinary technical teams.
- Membership in construction management organizations (PMI, CII, CMAA) and relevant certifications preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering with 15+ years of progressively responsible project design, execution, and management experience.
- Minimum 5 years of industrial processes design experience with expertise in one or more areas (process, mechanical, electrical, controls, civil/structural/architectural design).
