An Electronics Test Rig Electrical Engineer is needed for a major U.S. defense contractor and industrial corporation with core manufacturing concentrations in weapons and military and commercial electronics in the Windsor Locks, CT area. This role will manage and troubleshoot customer flight hardware repairs and perform design and electrical testing of test rigs, ensuring the successful upgrade and maintenance of related equipment in an onsite environment.

responsibilities:
- Manage the research, development, design, and testing of electrical components, PC board layouts, electronics packaging, and systems.
- Perform work within the Electronics Aftermarket Maintenance and Repair organization.
- Analyze and troubleshoot customer flight hardware.
- Provide direction to repair technicians to ensure hardware is returned to ready condition.
- Analyze and troubleshoot customer flight hardware issues.
- Provide technical direction to repair technicians.
- Design and perform electrical testing on test rigs.
- Upgrade and repair test rigs and related equipment.
- Perform additional tasks in related areas as required.
- BS in Electrical Engineering (EE) with 10 years of experience in an electronics test and repair environment or
- 15-20 years of relevant experience in an electronics test and repair environment without a degree.
