A manufacturer in the Charlotte area is looking for an Electrical Technician. Candidates must have at least 3 years' experience performing maintenance and repair of machinery, support equipment, and facility with focus on electrical equipment. Experience with Omron, Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley, and Yaskawa PLCs preferred. Plant setting. Some lifting and standing. Hourly rate and benefits.

responsibilities:
Maintain automatic machines with PLC's, robotics, hydraulics, and pneumatic controls.
Able to utilize software to troubleshoot PLC's HMI's, robotics, and AC Drives.
Diagnose and remedy any electrical and mechanical trouble quickly to avoid shutdowns.
Determine necessary repairs, tear down and reassemble machines.
Maintain equipment drawings and documentation to reference for timely repairs.
Identify potential problems before machinery incur additional expense or production downtime.
Document trouble shooting guides.
Perform ongoing training of Maintenance team on troubleshooting and support of equipment.
Assist in installation and qualification of new equipment as necessary.
Interface between Process/Plant Engineering and Maintenance team on equipment issues.
Demonstrate flexibility by being on-call as needed to maintain production schedules and remaining on the shift when needed to manage shifting priorities and demands.
Perform preventative maintenance, 5S, improvement and special projects, as well as perform other assigned tasks as directed by engineering management.
