A Process Technician is needed for a manufacturing company considered one of the world's leading innovators in materials science in the Newton, NC area. This position will support manufacturing engineering projects by assisting with equipment installation, process improvement, and technical solutions while collaborating with teams and ensuring safe work practices.

responsibilities:
- Maintain safe work practices and report hazardous conditions.
- Implement technical solutions and process changes to improve equipment capability.
- Assist in equipment installation, debugging, and meeting milestone objectives.
- Analyze data and collaborate with experts to resolve mechanical and process issues.
- Manage spare parts inventory and ensure proper storage across multiple plants.
- Support training of operations staff on equipment and operational changes.
- Ability to quickly learn new technology and processes.
- strong technical fundamentals in mechanical and process areas.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks independently in a project-driven environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- strong communication skills.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2+ years in new equipment installations or process improvements in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with project expansions and fast-paced environments.
