A Wiring Harness Lab Technician is needed for a multinational manufacturing company that produces and distributes trucks, buses and construction equipment, as well as marine and industrial drive systems in the Greensboro, NC area. This role involves building, modifying, troubleshooting, and managing wiring harness systems for truck prototypes, ensuring high-quality electrical connectivity in collaboration with engineers.

responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain lab equipment, tools, and supplies.
- Manage inventory of wiring harness components for prototype builds and repairs.
- Modify existing wiring harnesses based on engineer directives.
- Build prototype wiring harnesses or cables per design specifications.
- Inspect wiring harnesses for temporary changes implemented by suppliers.
- Troubleshoot electrical and wiring system issues.
- Document and report wiring harness defects identified in the lab.
- Proficiency in wiring harness manufacturing, assembly, and repair tools.
- Experience with lab inventory control methods.
- Background in automotive or commercial electrical troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of automotive connector suppliers and connector families.
- strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Associate degree in Engineering or related technical education.
- 5+ years of experience in wiring design, manufacturing, or repair.
