A great client is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team! In this role, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing manufacturing processes and operator instructions for circuit card assemblies (CCAs) and electronic assemblies. You'll work with both Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and Through-Hole (TH) technology to ensure maximum efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Candidates must have 3-5 years of process/manufacturing experience, as well as experience in Lean and Continuous Improvement. Aerospace industry experience is preferred.

responsibilities:
- Interpret customer requirements and design processes that meet product standards.
- Define process flows and create clear work instructions for both automated and manual tasks, with inspection points.
- Design and validate process tools such as SMT stencils, jigs, and fixtures.
- Develop soldering profiles for SMT and Through-Hole technologies.
- Maintain and update the customer Bill of Materials.
- Manage chemical approvals and ensure compliance with quality standards (IPC-610/J-STD-001).
- Support product launches and implement improvements as needed.
- Troubleshoot issues related to production methods, equipment, materials, and environment.
- Monitor performance metrics (e.g., CRR, FPY, Scrap) and implement improvement plans.
- Optimize production throughput, minimize downtime, and drive cost reduction through process improvements.
- Provide training and support to engineers and technicians.
- Assist with capacity modeling and labor quoting for projects.
- 3-5 years of experience in Manufacturing/Process Engineering within Electronics Manufacturing.
- strong knowledge of components, circuit boards, and materials used in electronics manufacturing.
- Proven ability to design and implement manufacturing processes.
- In-depth understanding of IPC-610/J-STD-001 standards.
- Familiarity with labor capacity, quoting, and efficiency analysis.
- Experience with Lean and Continuous Improvement practices.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Aerospace industry experience is preferred
