A Utility Manager is needed for a leading water and wastewater utility near Temple Hills, MD. The Utility Manager will be responsible for overseeing the operations and maintenance of water and wastewater systems. This role is responsible for managing staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and overseeing budgets while maintaining effective communication with stakeholders. The Utility Manager will lead daily operations, coordinate with subcontractors, and develop policies to ensure efficient and effective service levels.
The ideal candidate has experience managing water and wastewater systems, with a background in either operations or capital project management. Candidates must have staff management experience and a proven track record in budget creation and management. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience is required.
