An E&C Engineer is needed for a utility holding company in the Pueblo, CO area. This role involves leading the design, development, and testing of engineering projects, ensuring quality and efficiency, and providing technical expertise and leadership throughout the project lifecycle.

responsibilities:
- Responsible for designing, modeling, developing, and testing machines, structures, or systems.
- Develops functional requirements and applies standard engineering principles.
- Creates simulations and prototypes to evaluate preliminary designs and assess operational performance.
- Designs, tests, and integrates components to produce the final product.
- Monitors product quality and controls process efficiency.
- Evaluates designs for effectiveness, cost, reliability, and safety.
- Investigates root causes of failures to maintain quality and recommend improvements.
- Acts as a technical project engineer or subject matter expert for assigned areas, leading major or complex projects.
- Maintains contacts within and outside the organization for technical matters.
Education and Experience:
- Required Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from ABET accredited curriculum (or recognized equivalency).
- 9+ years relevant engineering experience with PE (Professional Engineer) registration preferred.
