Looking for an experienced Senior Designer in Muskegon, MI for a 6 month contract assignment. The Senior Designer is responsible for creating and developing 3D model and 2D drawings for military ground vehicle components, leading CAD efforts, collaborating with teams to ensure design accuracy, and contributing to tooling design and product improvements.

responsibilities:
- Manage 2D and 3D CAD drawing and modeling for transmission, engine, and power pack control systems design concepts.
- Design mechanical, electromechanical, and pneumatic control systems.
- Review and revise designs based on feedback and project changes.
- Work with engineers and team members to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.
- Recommend, plan, and implement component or system product improvements.
- Integrate engine, transmission, power pack, and subsystems (controls and electrical) into military vehicles.
- Present design models and analyses to company and customer representatives, addressing any design questions.
- Assist in developing design and performance specifications for internal departments and suppliers.
- Proficient in electro-mechanical design using tools such as Creo 7.0 and PTC Windchill 12.0.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to work effectively with suppliers, customers, and government representatives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
