Immediate Direct Hire Opening for an Automation Technician with at least 2 years of experience with 480V electrical wiring and installation. This position will troubleshoot, diagnose and determine corrective actions for repairs or improvements on any automation equipment in the warehouse before it is sent to the customer. This is a level II position. The ideal candidate will have leadership experience to assist with training newer technicians.
Required Technical Skills:
- 2 or more years college education toward Mechatronics degree or like degree OR if no degree, 7 years electrical experience, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic or electro-mechanical fields.
- 480V electrical wiring and install.
- PLC troubleshooting
- Experience with blueprints, manuals, electrical line and schematic drawings.
- Electronics, electrical/Mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics, electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills, motor drives, data acquisition programs, electronic control boards and troubleshooting, automation, controls, HMI, sensing devices, and maintenance software.
- Ability to weld is a plus
- AutoCAD a plus
- Understanding of Automated Vehicles a plus

- Configure and install drives, motor starters, and frequency inverters
- Create list of materials needed for projects
- Assist with jr. technicians training and troubleshooting
