A Senior Technician is needed for a major U.S. defense contractor and industrial corporation with core manufacturing concentrations in weapons and military and commercial electronics in the Lenexa, KS area. This role supports Configuration Management by ensuring accurate engineering documentation, maintaining PLM data, overseeing change management processes, and collaborating with internal teams to uphold compliance and workflow efficiency.

responsibilities:
- Support the Configuration Management team in maintaining workflow and productivity.
- Perform engineering documentation tasks, including drawing release, data entry, and change management.
- Assist in compliance and maintenance of company standards and processes for configuration management.
- Update and improve efficiency in configuration management processes.
- Maintain data items within a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.
- Follow Configuration Management policies and procedures in daily operations.
- Evaluate data sets for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and conformity.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and workflows.
- Participate in Change Review Board (CRB) meetings.
- Collaborate with Engineering staff and internal department associates.
- Experience with SAP database management and Master Data Entry.
- Knowledge of Teamcenter for data management and process workflows.
- Basic understanding of management approaches like prioritization and process execution.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat.
- Associate degree or equivalent experience.
- At least two years in technical documentation.
