A Material Specialist is needed for an American corporation that manufactures agricultural, construction, and forestry machinery, diesel engines, drivetrains (axles, transmissions, gearboxes) used in heavy equipment, and lawn care equipment in the Waterloo, IA area. This role manages production and service part scheduling, material coordination, and inventory accuracy while supporting engineering changes and operational efficiency in a manufacturing environment.

responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule simple manufacturing processes for current production and service parts.
- Develop line sequencing of options as needed.
- Provide work direction when necessary.
- Schedule production and service parts to meet operational demands.
- Expedite production and purchased parts to ensure timely delivery.
- Implement and communicate engineering and material changes.
- Assist the production department with manpower planning.
- Perform general administrative tasks to support operations.
- Support inventory integrity and accuracy, including production and scrap reporting.
- Manufacturing experience is a plus.
- strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel.
