Required:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of HSE experience in a manufacturing environment involving hazardous chemicals and gases.
- Proven expertise in hazardous waste management, industrial hygiene monitoring, air permitting, and environmental system compliance.
- experience using Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Power BI.
- Ability to manage independent projects while collaborating effectively in a team-driven environment.
- certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) credential.
- In-depth knowledge of federal and California hazardous waste and environmental regulations.
- Understanding of air pollution control technologies and wastewater treatment principles.
- Familiarity with semiconductor industry chemicals and gases, including associated hazards and mitigation strategies.

responsibilities:
- Serve as a subject matter expert in environmental and industrial hygiene, applying risk-based approaches to meet regulatory requirements and align with HSE management systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, OSHA VPP).
- Partner closely with site management and support personnel to promote a safety culture and ensure ongoing regulatory compliance.
- Actively participate as a core member of the site leadership team, providing strategic HSE guidance and coordinating activities to enhance performance.
- Lead or support the development and implementation of HSE considerations in new process and procedure design, from concept through launch.
- Collaborate with other HSE teams across North America to align on best practices and elevate environmental performance.
- Identify, evaluate, and implement cost-effective system and procedural solutions to manage safety, industrial hygiene, and environmental concerns, including chemical and gas safety, air permitting, hazardous waste management, and industrial hygiene monitoring.
- Maintain accurate and organized data using digital tools including Microsoft Office Suite and Power BI.
