In this role you will plan, lead, and ensure the successful execution of all design activities related to Aircrew Safety and energetic products, serving as a hands-on engineering leader within the engineering department and reporting directly to the Director of Engineering.

Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Systems, or Aerospace Engineering (or related discipline).
- Master's degree in a technical field is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in engineering leadership or management roles.
- Proven experience with rugged electronics design: both analog and digital systems-
- Familiarity with DO-178/DO-254 standards or equivalent safety-critical development processes
- Hands-on experience in electronics validation and system-level testing.
- Experience with energetic systems/architectures- PLUS

- Lead and contribute as the principal designer on new product developments and engineering modifications.
- Ensure all designs comply with applicable regulatory standards, qualification criteria, and internal quality requirements.
- Manage the creation, review, and timely delivery of all required technical documentation for program execution.
- Provide end-to-end product lifecycle support, including testing, deployment, field service, and future upgrades.
- Operate independently, providing consistent and proactive status updates to project and program management teams.
- Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals, technical presentations, and program milestone reviews.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure design solutions align with customer requirements and organizational objectives.
- Continuously assess and improve engineering workflows, tools, and processes to increase efficiency and product reliability.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to engineering team members, promoting technical excellence and knowledge sharing.
