Houston are top ranking engineering firm is seeking an Electrical CAD Technician to support technical teams of detailers, designers, and engineers in creating top-tier details for telecom and fiber optic projects. The role involves aiding in the development of computer-aided drafting and design solutions. Will need to have AutoCAD experience and a minimum of 2-3 years working on Telecom, GIS and/or Fiber optics projects.

responsibilities:
- Assist with preparing drawings and revising existing engineering drawings of basic components from specific sketches or layouts.
- Assist with preparing and revising permit & plot drawings.
- 2 years minimum experience in Telecom, GIS or fiber optics industry projects required
- AutoCad expereince needed, MicroStation is a plus
- Responsible for adhering to company and client drafting standards and procedures.
- Responsible for adhering to the drafting practices
- Assist in drafting design and documentation for various projects.
- Assist with tasks utilizing standard drafting detail programs.
- Assist in continuous drafting detail improvement efforts.
- Research solutions to project concerns and recommend solutions to design problems.
