An Engineering Technician for a medical devices and equipment manufacturing company is needed in the Portage, MI area. This role provides hands-on technical support for engineers and scientists, with responsibilities in evaluating and improving processes, building additive manufacturing prototypes, and maintaining related equipment within clearly defined procedures.

responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to engineers and scientists across a range of tasks.
- Develop and recommend procedures and methods for technical processes.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation.
- Perform technical evaluations to determine root cause of issues.
- Recommend and support corrective actions after evaluations.
- Operate within a generalist technical function or combination of disciplines.
- Follows clearly defined procedures and guidelines.
- Tasks involve basic understanding of discipline-specific routines.
- Works under standard technical procedures with some routine variability.
